Sing for Pleasure

Children’s Singing Week – Trafford

Children’s Singing Week – Trafford

£80.00

Sing for Pleasure’s popular course for talented young singers from the Greater Manchester area is back, but this year we are partnering up with Beat Goes On for a very special week of music making! Led by choral specialist, Matt Roughley, and percussion expert, Ollie Tunmer, this non-residential summer school brings together singing and body percussion in an exciting and unique way; children will develop choral and musicianship skills through a wide range of repertoire, fun singing games and inspiring body percussion activities.
The course is open to any child aged between 9 and 13 years. The ability to sight read is not essential but pupils should have experience of singing in a choir or be learning to play an instrument. Children can come in a group with their teacher or as an individual. Plenty of staff will be on hand to supervise those who attend without an adult. There is no cost for accompanying teachers.
