What happens at the weekend?
As with all our main weekends, we offer courses for conductors — from the Essentials Course (ideal for anyone new to SfP) through to Level 3 — as well as a dedicated course for singers. This year’s singers’ course is led by Ula Weber (see below for more information!).
What’s the venue like?
Bromsgrove Preparatory School is set in beautiful grounds and offers excellent facilities. Our teaching spaces are spacious and comfortable, while the reception and break area features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the surroundings. We’ll also have access to wonderful theatre and drama spaces for warm-ups and choral sessions — providing the perfect environment for a creative and inspiring weekend.
Tell me more about the food!
Lunch and dinner on Saturday, lunch on Sunday, plus tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the weekend are all included, so you can focus fully on the course without worrying about packed lunches or searching for somewhere to eat. Ula’s singers’ course is titled “Summer is a-coming” — perfect as we anticipate the arrival of longer and (hopefully!) warmer days.
