SfP for Teachers

Sing for Pleasure has a proud tradition of helping children to improve their singing, through workshops and residential events, training courses for teachers and vocal leaders aligned to the DfE Standard for Teachers' Professional Development, and a range of stimulating song books for use in class and choir.

Conductor Training

Our renowned conductor training programme advocates quick, efficient teaching through vocal demonstration, repetition, and reinforcement. This non-stop, time-efficient method of teaching uses an effective and systematic series of building blocks and has been proven to work in schools time and again. Junior Songbook Pack

The SfP JSB comprises a range of songbooks thoroughly road-tested for children at various age groups. The selection contains a mixture of action songs, fun songs, rounds, and starter pieces. They are designed to be enjoyable to sing, to help children sing in parts quickly, and to work as part of music curriculum class lessons, as well as for school choirs. You can see all the titles available in our shop.

Sing for Pleasure also offers Vocal Leadership Training Programmes to schools and music education hubs. The program is designed to equip school teachers and music tutors with the skills they need to lead singing with children confidently and effectively.
