What We Do
SfP for Conductors
As the largest provider of choral conductor training in the UK, Sing for Pleasure offers high-quality programmes to hundreds of choral conductors, teachers and vocal leaders nationwide (and beyond) each year. Our methodology has an emphasis on planning and preparation, effective and efficient teaching and rehearsal support through the use of expressive and economic conducting gestures in order to develop well rounded and adaptable musical leaders. We take great pride in delivering programmes that are progressive, intellectually stimulating, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each participant. These are delivered within a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive.
Our training is structured as follows - for more details, scroll down.
The national impact of our high-quality training and leadership in choral excellence is clear. This is reflected in the many participants who return year after year and go on to strengthen and inspire choirs across the country.
